The variety of ylang-ylang that we distill is the Cananga Odorata Genuina.
Its parfum is a combination of floral, spicy, balsamic, fruity and woody notes that give fragrances an elegant aroma, hot and sensual. It is also used in the composition of renowned perfumes.

The best qualities of essential oils of ylang ylang (form Genuina) come from the Comoros because the trees grow on volcanic soil and give essential oils a very special note .
It is for this reason that the chromatographic profile of the oils differs considerably depending on whether the trees grow in the Comoros or elsewhere.

WHAT FRACTION FOR WHAT USE?

The qualities known as "EXTRA" and "EXTRA SUP" are used in perfumery for their intense fragrance but they are also the most anti-infectious and regenerative for the skin. They are also used for their calming, soothing and inflammatory virtues.
The FIRST, SECOND and THIRD qualities keep antispasmodic properties but their flavor becomes lighter and lighter as we cook them so they are less used in perfumery.
The THIRD is often used as an anti-parasitic, especially for parasitic dermatoses. It is effective against scabies, both for animals and for humans.
The mixture of all the fractions gives the essential oil called "COMPLETE" which is used as much in perfumery as in cosmetics, it has all the properties listed above. It is the most used in aromatherapy.
